- Sensibility: Hilariously and tragically sensible, other than a few moments involving kids and particularly a youth soccer team.
- Cinematography: Beautifully shot with great costuming. Simple lighting and production design that just works. Highlight of the film however are the music choices, which perfectly pair and enhance the on-screen chicanery.
- Energy: A great film that constantly pushes the limit (both narratively and BAC). Only negative is that the film gets a bit predictable near the end but not to a point where the viewing experience becomes antsy or impatient.
- Narrative: A hilarious, thought-provoking, dramatic, romantic, and tragic story all rolled into one. The film has a great interplay of professional and extra-curricular education, both literally and metaphorically.
- T-Points: The film received 4 bonus points: one for a great birthday dinner scene, one for the brilliant acting and chemistry between the four friends, one for the brilliant application and use of a psychologist's adventurous concept, and one for an excellent soundtrack.
Unbelievably effective story-telling. I keep re-watching this film because it has such a strong presence even with the language barrier on my end. Mads Mikkelsen, the cast of four friends, and their wives all deliver
such incredible performances that transcend the language barrier with ease.
