- S: Some of the details of the ending make it hard to suspend disbelief: in particular, the lack of police presence throughout, how the reboot at the end woke Iris up, and how
she's able to finish the job at the end when she was unable to
minutes before.
- C: Some great shots, but the set is a bit over-simplified and some of the CGI particularly in one of the deaths near the end isn't seamless.
- E: Fun, action-packed watch. Great music and pacing along with the occasional bit of intellectual intrigue given the basic concept of the companion make for a solid watch. The
end falls a bit flat with the over-dramatization and insensibilities.
- N: The story is conceptually good, but the premise and set-up for the film are borderline nonsense. The side character's are extremely one-dimensional and the main plot driver
really doesn't make sense given the characters involved.
- T: The film received one bonus point for a very short moment where Josh chuckles to himself about a "process" joke which goes completely unrecognized by the plot or other characters.
Fun watch. Conceptually interesting but the premise is a bit weak and the execution
is missing details to really take this film over the edge. Comes off like a (much) better version of M3GAN from a few years ago
