- Sensibility: Even though the story and dialogue are insane, the story presents itself fairly sensibly. Only thing that is odd is some inconsistencies with Craig's character.
- Cinematography: The film has a very retro vibe embodied through its production design, costuming, periscope scene changes, and character design.
This style works, but is interrupted by the short stints at Craig's job.
- Energy: Very fun watch propelled by great performances and wild dialogue writing. There's a bit of a lull near the end right after his wife is found where it feels like the story loses itself a bit.
- Narrative: The nature of the story is so peculiar that it is hard not to enjoy.
However, Craig's character design isn't very cogent, with his behavior combative in some instances and very passive in other, but inexplicably so. The story also seems to lose the plot (pun intended) in the back half.
- T-Points: The film received one bonus point for a hilarious and wild scene where a stranger asks Craig what it is like to abandon his wife,
The story and dialogue are very unique and Tim Robinson and Paul Rudd deliver amazing performances. However, the film has issues that take it out of the running for the next cult classic.
