- S: Borderline nonsense for most of the film. Ignoring the plethora of plot holes, the decision making in the film alone is enough to break suspension of disbelief: the decision to break a window,
the sudden respite after closing a door on a killer, getting into another couple's van, and the murderers' decision to give the victim a gun. The reveal at the end does
tie-up some of the very loose ends but not in a way that is satisfying or worthwhile.
- C: Costuming is good. Sound design far too extreme: we can hear a ring being put on a finger. Very gory, but not in a quality way. Most shots are derivative.
- E: Some ups and downs. The regular bombardment with corny lines and predictable scenes does break up the flow.
- N: A large portion of the story is very predictable, and the ways that the story is unpredictable are disappointing. The premise of the film is very weak and the love-interest set up is
as non-sensical as the murderer's decision making throughout. The villain reveal is a major disappointment given the strengths of the motive throughout. However, the story does leave some decent red herrings to confuse the detective-minded viewers.
- T: The film received one bonus point for the villain's costume and particularly the night-vision feature.
Sometimes it is good to watch a terrible movie to keep you grounded.
