- Sensibility: Other than some recklessness from some cops, this story is unfortunately sensible.
- Cinematography: Great use of free-cam, giving the whole film a realism and uneasiness that comes with the subject matter. Costuming, hair, and makeup are incredible. Production design is solid.
- Energy: The intertwining narratives leave little room for relaxation.
- Narrative: This film is like if Crash (2004) was actually good. Great dialogue writing throughout with characters that are archetypal but with some great idiosyncracies. The film is heading in a direction you expect, but it doesn't just jump to the obvious conclusions and
gives the viewer time to comprehend and live inside the unfortunate reality this film captures.
- T-Points: The film received three bonus points: one for a brutal awakening by a corpse, one for a bit of insight shared in a hospital room, one for great makeup and hairstyling most notably for sweat, and one for an unjust conversation with an inmate to end the film.
I was expecting a run-of-the-mill crime-thriller, but I got way more than I paid for.
