- Sensibility: This film is a mess. A doctor who doesn't sedate, a strange pulse, a lack of police attention even during highly visible chase scene, get stuck in a dance routine, a choice to "pay respects," and an abandoned car at a crime scene all point to nonsensical writing.
- Cinematography: Some very bad sound design during the gun fight scenes and some mismatched weather visuals are jarring. Costuming is a bit lackluster, but production design is good and relevant to the film. There are also a sequence of bad shots outside a restaurant/apartment complex during a doctor's visit. Feels like they blew the budget on the cast
- Energy: It's a rather dull watch. The predictability of the story combined with the lack of substance makes for a snoozer. Nearly all of the cards the film has are shown from the start, and the rest of the film feels like nonsense tacked on to make the run time feature length.
- Narrative: This film is all cast no content. All of the story is laid out in the first 15 minutes and then there is very little meaningful narrative throughout the remainder. Even worse, what is added is fairly predictable. The female doctor subplot is derivative, dull, and turns out to be completely pointless. There is a lot of running around over nothing, and too many back and forth ego jabs between the main characters.
- T-Points: The film received one bonus point for a bit where a gun sight is adjusted to fit a new user, a bit I'm not sure I've seen in an action sequence before.
The story tried too hard to be funny when the humor should come naturally out of the ridiculousness of the plot. Feels like the film blew everything it had locking down the cast and had nothing left for any of what makes a film great.
